Targu Jiu, Romania

This is my Gazda sisters Highschool (Tudor Vladamirescu). The back part of it is also the University.

This is a street sign that can be seen all over. Be careful of the horse and buggies because they come from the villages and city also. The Roma and poor families use them. It is amazing to see horses still used for any type of activity. Stepping in horse poop is just as common as dog poop here.

The next is me in Tudor Vladamirescu Park. I walk through it everyday to one of my offices.

Then there is the Endless Column Park. The houses behind the column are where my gazda's neighborhood is. I will give you the story later of the column with the other famous sculptures.

Some elf or old man with huge feet sculpture that I found jogging one day.

The white building is near the elf and is the mayor's office.

The tan building is the county governor's office. There was an international folk music festival here a few weeks ago.

The huge building behind the tents (also a festival) is where my apartment is located. Though, I have the back view of the parking lot, I can't complain since it is right in the center. You can also see in the picture a stray dog. Sad.
