My Apartment

Here is my new apartment. It is small but I love it. It is right in the center and above a 24 hour grocery store. It took 4 days to clean, is still not clean of dust and I have been vacuuming with my new vacuum every few days!! Gross. The kitchen is also a little scary but I want to hang some plastic table clothes on the walls. I was told that I can't just paint like I want to, I have to actually take off the paint first. I said that if I just paint over it that it would last 2 years before it starts to peel, but no I still can't. I have also seen quite a few little black friends when I turn on the lights. I decided that when I saw the normal, romanian huge black cockroaches that the little friends had to also go. Now I am feeding them poison and hope they all DIE!!! The cockroaches are huge here but not as big as in my last city of Ploieşti. They are like miniture rodents in that city and thank god I never saw them in my Gazda's. My new Gazda mom had to wash the huge curtain 5 times!!! On the 5th wash she put so much soap and bleach in that the suds were leaking out of the machine. We decided they were clean enough after that. My bad also sucks!! It is a pull out sofa and is slowly coming apart. The metal pieces on the bottom are rusty and the screws are not happy. I also have to shove a blanket between the head cushions and the wall or the cushions will fall to the ground. I have to sleep with my head at the opposite end in order not to fall through. I try to leave the bed out as much as possible because if I put it away I am just temped to sleep on it without pulling it out. It is just as comfortable without having to remove the 20lb each cushions. Enough complaining though. I am very fortunate with the location and couldn't have asked for better!!
