This is our Peace Corps Doctor at our Christmas Party. Dr. Dan. He smokes like 10 packs a day but tells us not to. He is a pretty good Dr. and has a lot of humor. Once we went through a whole lesson in training when we first got here about getting sick from the sheets. Everyone was looking around wondering how we could get sick of the bed...bed bugs maybe. Oh no he meant the shits. It was hilarious. He also told us never to eat at KFC here unless we want our insides to fall out of our asses.This is Salata de Boef. Lots of mayo and cut up veggies and raw egg. That is how they make the mayo here since they do not buy products already made. The Santa is made out of mayo and red peppers. This is very traditional usually at holidays.I actually just ate some at work because the Priest brought some to the meeting they are having.

Sheep, I think. Males. I'm not so good at the whole farm animal identification. Romanians think it is very hilarious when I get so excited to see animals after living here for 2 years. The horse and buggies are the best.

This is a normal sight here. Sometimes you can even see the tractors or wagons (caruţa) pulling the cars.
