Car Accident

I got into my first car accident last night!! It was one of the most frightening times of my life!! Romi and I had to go pick up our friend, Alina, at the train station in a village called Rovinari because she missed the correct train from Bucaresti. On the way home it was drizzling and Romi swerved to hard and fast not to hit a stray dog. He lost control as the car started weaving back and forth then hit the gravel and spun 3-4 times in a circle. I started screaming and plugged my ears right away. Instinct everytime someone almost hits an animal. I think that subconsciously if my ears are plugged I will not feel the thump plus I don't want to hear the sounds. When the car came out of spinning it was going backwards so fast and that is when I opened my eyes for the first time. It was also just in time to see the fence we were about to hit. Thank God it was not a cement fence like most yards. We went backwards over 2 huge solid metal poles flew a few feet into the air when the poles refused to fall flat to the ground, and landed with a thud. When we landed I was the only one to get hurt. My knees rammed into the dashboard and the metal radio holder popped out and gouged my knee. The radar also flew off the windshield and smacked me in the face!! It sucked so bad and I didn't stop screaming until the other 2 had to yell at me that we stopped. Then we had to wait out in the rain for hours while the Police came and looked over the scene and took us to the Police Station to file reports. It was the highlight of the night for all the villagers that saw the accident they all ran over with their cell phone flashes to see the damage. It was kind of funny and the older men kept telling me and Alina to get back in the car because they are afraid of rain. We were going nowhere near the car again unless they forced us into it. I also had a bag of sesame seed pretzels that flew all over the car and us and left crumbs everywhere. I don't have any pictures of the accident because nobody had a camera but we might go back out there today to take some pics.
